No copy here on the West Coast either. But as the sun rises, I expect him to get louder. Just about sunrise here

OK FB!!! I worked him FOR SURE now, on 20SSB, on the 2nd call.
It was really strange too. I had been monitoring an hour, and didn't hear a peep. SUDDENLY, he was there, 59+!
Maybe he switched antennas.
So, now I can go to church and watch the Chargers, without worry. But I do want to work him on more bands, just to be sure. Cuz it is NEVER "FOR SURE" until I show up in the online log!

Swans and Drakes do NOT belong in lakes. Maybe some Heathkits do, depending on who built them .

COngrats Pat!!!!
I just looked and found my QSO in their log. I think I was in the first 100 or so QSOs as I got lucky and caught them early.
As for the signals suddenly appearing, when I was listening the other night, they had an EU QSO then suddenly they vanished and went from an s6 to an s1 or less. I suspect they are using something with directivity and spun it around when EU propagation was up. You probably just caught the reverse of that.

They are very loud here on 20 ssb now. 14.180.
What I am finding interesting is the "take charge" attitude of the OPs. If you are being a butt or calling out of turn or over people, they will make the callsign public and chastise the operator. FINALLY!!! A DXpedition that has some gumption.

Can barely hear them on 20. Still too weak to work. Hhhmmmm . . . .

Not a peep in Pennsylvania on any band.

I see I'm in their on line log now, for 12CW last night.
Will try a couple more today...been a busy morning but I can fire up for a while I think.
