    Please define "Raw" beer.......
I'm aware of that it was sold in Southern Kalifornia in the 1960s it was also brewed and bottled here right down on Federal BLVD. It was my grandfather's favorite beer.
When I lived in Oregon I had friends who would drive to Navada and smuggle Coors into the state by the plait load.
    It was better than Blitz.
The only reason it wasn't available in states where it wasn't brewed had to do with that screwy federal pasteurization law.

I have a soft spot in my heart for Cactus.
I have one I have owned since 1975, carted it all over the place except for the last couple of times I have moved.
I keep saying I'll post a picture of it, the weather is good and I shall have to do that.
I would love to have a Sagauro Cactus.

Fireworks here in New Mexico are somewhat complicated. The state doesn't regulate many of them. That is left to local governments. Here we have the various laws of each county (33 of them), municipality (around 100), and tribal councils. County ordinances are invalid within incorporated areas, so in our case Bernalillo County outlaws many fireworks but they can be purchased legally at Gemini Fireworks on 4th street in Los Ranchos, just south of Taco Bell if anyone is interested. Los Ranchos despite their location along the east banks of the Rio Grande and it's dry firestorm prone woods allows almost anything. If you purchase those fireworks and drive outside the village limits you could be arrested. Albuquerque also outlaws many of those fireworks so it's the same story as the county. Sandia Pueblo isn't subject to those laws either so you used to be able to buy them there. Then they had some bad fires started along the river by kids lighting fireworks so they banned them there after that.

This year is so dry that all bets are off as far as fireworks are concerned. Bernailillo County has actually banned smoking and a couple of weeks ago Los Ranchos did as well. You cannot smoke outside unless in a vehicle using the ashtray. The state fire marshal also issued an outdoor smoking ban in unincorporated areas. As far as I know Albuquerque hasn't banned smoking yet. Much of the forests and parks are closed until rain comes, since stupid hikers like to light up and throw their cigarettes into the dry brush.

    One of my Favorites.
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
This is the same amendment that says Montana can make weapons for sale within their borders and Kalifornia can legalize dope within their borders.
And the DEA and the BATFE can kiss off.

I was told that there is a county in California where it is legal to purchase the favor of a prostitute..,.to be used there but NOT TO TAKE OUT of the county...or cross state lines with...

This message is no indication that I could or would employ a prostitute anywhere...but just that I know the limits of the law when I imagine the details about stuff like that..

w2ilp (I Loathe Prostitutes)...but most of us "prostitute" ourselves by doing work that we don't like to do for money.

As you know, I like to build and fly model aircraft. Here in MD, you cannot buy airplane dope ( kind of like a varnish ) to put a traditional finish on a model airplane.

I am not sure what they do on the real planes like restored Piper Cubs, etc. I believe that if you do purchase the stuff in 5 gal containers (or maybe bigger ) it is legal, but who would ever use 5 gallons of airplane dope on MODELS ?
Ham Radio, Amateur Astronomy, and Model Airplanes - what better way to spend some time!

No time is ever wasted that is spent LEARNING something !

I know quite a bit about Kalifornia and have never heard that except for Sacramento where prostitution is legal but only in the state legislature.
