    How is you Japanese?

    or your Dutch?

The Kenwood TL-911 Operating and Service Manuals can be found at MODS.DK

    The Trio/Kenwood TL-911 used 5 6LQ6 sweep tubes.
The wiring change is accomplished at the transformer/AC line cord entrance -- bottom if radio (photo attached).

FIRST, check to see IF the AC transformer HAS 100 or 120 VAC primaries ... IF it does not ... then you can not re-wire for 120 VAC !
While Japan does have 100 VAC power ..... Japanese mfg. have been known to produce Export models that ONLY have a 220/240 VAC primary.
Been there -- and paid to have a dual primary transformer wound for an expensive and collectible piece of equipment a few years ago !

When you re-wire for 120 VAC in North America -- TWO VERY IMPORTANT CHANGES

    1. The AC Fuse must be changed to a higher amperage fuse (Lower Voltage, Increase Current)
The correct value will be found in Owner's Manual and/or Schematic.

    2. The AC PLUG must be changed to NEMA 5-15P to comply with current US electrical codes.
