Love my new wheels!
This weekend is 2 weeks and 200 miles on my new 2011 HD FatBoy (black, chrome wheels), and I am loving it!
Especially loved my first trip to the pump!

Pictures, please...

If you have to worry about the cost of HF e-mail, you can't afford the boat.

Congrats on the new toy.
Watch your a** out there. We just had a guy on a 2008 Victory nearly killed locally by an 18 year old female that turned right in front of him at 45 MPH.
I quit riding about 6 years ago after having 3 very close calls in 2 months with the exact same thing happening to me. I am getting too old to heal quickly. I rode many different bikes for over 40 years and never really had an accident other than going down in dirt a couple of times when you can expect it.
People just are lousy drivers today so be careful and enjoy the new ride.
And remember, calling in sick on a summer day right after bragging about your new ride to co workers looks really suspicious!

Okay. As long as you're busy riding and enjoying the bike, we'll wait for the pics

Congrats!
I just got in from a ride on my H-D Low Rider. 5 bucks almost fills the tank.
Oh, and it's H-D, not HD. HD is like 'first personal' to a Harley rider. Harley-Davidson is properly spelled using a hyphen.
Go to a Harley forum and use HD a couple times in your posts. Different subject altogether, but it will remind you of the Zed.

"The best number is 73. Why? 73 is the 21st prime number. Its mirror (37) is the 12th and its mirror (21) is the product of multiplying, 7 and 3. ... In binary, 73 is a palindrome, 1001001 which backwards is 1001001."
-Dr. Sheldon Cooper, (Jim Parsons), "Big Bang Theory"
"Just to invite your attention to "73" in Morse code--also a palindrome."

Have you taken a Motorcycle Safety Foundation course? Those are great for honing your skills.
In the 30+ years I've been riding I've only been down on my bike once: a lawyer hit me when he ran a red light. (Long story short, he weaseled his way out of paying for damages.)
There I was, sprawled on the pavement, my bike was in pieces feet away and being a true biker that I am the first words out of my mouth after I hit the pavement were, "My bike! How's my bike?"

I have been riding for over forty years. My latest is a 1200 Sportster which I received as a birthday present from a friend...a good friend. I also have a cat (No cat-owner comments; I also have a killer dog.) named "Harley". Unfortunately, she is a calico and was named by one of my daughters for her "harlequin" coloration -- but we don't have to tell anyone about that part.
Exposing the uninformed and arrogant since 1956.
