Automatic UK callsign redirection feature
This is not about the logbook but the main QRZ.com call database. If there is a more appropriate forum for this post please feel free to move it!
In the United Kingdom, individual callsigns are of the format:
The "sl" is the Secondary Locator, which can be M for scotland, J for Jersey, Guernsey, D for Isle of Man, W for Wales etc. In England, a secondary locator is not normally used, except when the callsign starts with "2" in which case "E" is used as the SL.
Now when Ofcom assigns a callsign to an amateur, it is issued with the secondary locator of the home address of the applicant, so an amateur in Scotland would receive, for example, an MM0 callsign, and one in England would receive M0.
But when UK amateurs are operating from another part of the UK, the locator of the region where he is *operating* from is used, so if the English ham with callsign M0ABC is operating from Scotland, he would use MM0ABC.
Since most people will have only one qrz.com entry, a DX station trying to look up MM0ABC would not get any result. But all UK callsigns are unique even disregarding the secondary locator, so MM0ABC will always be the same ham as M0ABC, and Ofcom would not allocate for example MJ0ABC to a different amateur in Jersey.
Lots of people outside the UK probably don't know about this scheme and wouldn't know how to look up ham in question by trying the different regional selectors.
Therefore my suggestion is to make QRZ.com automatically generate redirects from the various regional formats to the registered entry, so that anyone searching for MJ0ABC or MM0ABC would get redirected to M0ABC.
Another example would be MJ6QQQ from Jersey, where lookups for M6QQQ, MM6QQQ, etc. should all be redirected to MJ6QQQ.
I guess these could get set up when the database entry was created or by a script retroactively?

Such a feature already exists, it is referred to as an alias callsign. Aliases can be added to your primary callsign page. When an alias is called it is directed to your primary page that is then annotated with “aka [alias callsign]”.
