Confirming QSO

After I enter the information about a qso I see an outgoing arrow, when i go to the qrz page of the contact I made I see my call sign on their page. Yet I don't get the notification to confirm that the contact took place. Is there a step I am missing?

The idea is that the other party to the QSO should confirm the contact - not much use in you confirming the details you entered yourself! When the other user views his/her log, there is an option to click "Confirm" (or reject) for each incoming QSO, and when this is clicked by the receiving user the QSO gets marked as Confirmed with a star.

I understand that but the question is if he has entered me into his log why am I not getting the confirm or reject option or at least the ability to mark his log entry as seen by me?

It goes into his log automatically as "Awaiting confirmation". He doesn't need to confirm it for that, but it won't be marked with a star (in both your logs) until he does.
