    Default Building and OCF Dipole

I have a question regarding building and OCF Dipole.
I would like to build the dipole to the exact dimensions of the Buckmaster 7 band.

I will be using an Icom AT-130 tuner mounted on a mast outdoors.
Radio inside will be an Icom 706MKIIG
I will be setting the antenna up and in inverted Vee.

One leg of the antenna would be 45ft
The other leg would be 90 ft
I would like to use 18 wire for each leg, then have it come into RG8X coax down to the tuner where the shield would go to one point and the center conductor to another.

    Would this work?
The Icom tuner is designed for marine use on sailboats. Using the vessels ground and a 33 foot piece of wire on a backstay it xmits on 80-10

    Should work great.
see: http://w0hc.com/ocf-dipole/ to see how I built mine, as well as a sweep from 40-10m

OK great. Now the next question...

I will be using the AT130 with my 706. Feedline into the house from the tuner will be RG214.

The RG214 will then go into a 2 position coax switch.
    One output to my 706.
The other output to an LDG z100 that is hooked up to my FT450.

I would like to use the 450 with this setup.
I figure I will use the 706 and 'bypass' the tuner. then use the coax switch over to the FT450 and go from there.

    Should work right???
