hi my yeasu FT857 will not Connect to ham radio deluxe I have connected the radio to the computer but it will not come up on my computer screen why

help please

How are you connecting it, did you use a CT-62 cable from the radio to the computer. If so, what is HRD saying when trying to connect?

Assuming you have the USB interface cable, the first thing to do is to see if the serial port assigned to the cable shows up under Ports (COM and LPT) in device manager.

If not, you might not have the drivers loaded, you have the wrong drivers, or the drivers failed to load properly. IIRC, you have to install the cable drivers *before* you plug the cable into the PC.
