    L@@K... WTF?
    W@W!... WTF again.
"Worked the world"... during a sunspot minimum??
"Puts out full 100 watts on FM"... PA probably damaged then.
    Of TS-430S: "0 - 30MHz". I'll have to listen around 0Htz one day.
    "Transmits everywhere". Any guesses??

i hate when someone lists something for sale with specific instructions to contact them at their email, phone number or thru the pm system of the forum. then , the potential buyers post something like "if you would like to sell, email me at xxx@xxxx.com". why not just follow the sellers guidelines and contact THEM. i hate when i see that and it happens here at the zed, a lot.

    Wink Mint in box

I have seen rustbucket rigs advertised as mint in the box, I felt like asking if it meant the seller found a long forgotten candycane from Christmas in the box as sure did not look like any other mintyness to the deal Also "non smoker" some of the rigs look pretty yellowed from tobacco smoke with this description.
when I asked if it was the user or the rig that was non smoker the seller modified the ad to "I don't smoke but you can hardly smell the tobacco smoke from a former owner" I aired it out REAL GOOD",right!
Picky sellers, who have lots of money and don't mind shoving peoples nose in it as to how well off they are, act as if they were doing the buyer a favor for selling that more than new priced rig or talk down to a buyer as if they were trash if they ask a question about the gear or payment.
There was one well known seller, I told him I wanted a piece of gear he had for sale and he refused to sell it to me, why? too agressive, all I said was consider it sold and got a nasty email in return,I dont think he liked YLs hams as he made a point of letting me know all you blankety blank women are the same LOL:P
The "whatcha'got" type traders/sellers, but then I make my share of mistakes as well, and commit little faux pas like most humans will over the course of time so I can't say I HATE the types, just the behaviour in many cases which seems to be innocent but rather clueless,But we all brain fart from time to time, some of more regularly than others
I also have some likes as well in a seller, the ones who give you fast to the point info regarding whatever a person wanted to know, and keeping thier word on a sale, not letting next person offer more and buy from under you when you had arranged things with them and had to deal with a money order that had already been filled out to send, anyhow it DOES take all types and humans are prone to mistakes 73 all,Michelle

Saw a Swan 350 selling as a "rare vintage" ham station. My pet peeve is the excessive use of exclamation points. MUST SEE!!!!!!! RARE!!!!!! Like if the poophead swindler seller puts all the bangers at the end, you'll get excited about that Swan 350.
