Hello Comrade !
I was typing QRZ into Google today, and one of the suggested choices was
called qrz.ru. When I arrived there, I was pleasantly surprized to see Yeasu products advertised as well as 2m and 70 cm radios along with HF advertised and a similar set up of the site , which is in Russian BTW, but hey what is this??? There is a translator on it too, no need to try to learn Russian, so,
I clicked it and guess what happened. Most of the site went to English no problem.
The next thing I did was look up my own callsign, and was dissapointed. I appears the database lags a little, and my latest address location was not listed, as it is up to date on our American QRZ site
Just thought you might want to see what a real amateur radio mirror of QRZ looked like in Russian...
It is also great for logging that Russian station contact late at night, which you may, or may not be able to do reliably, on the qrz.ru website.
I try to keep an open mind, and was pleasantly surprised to see this "other" QRZ.ru website, and you will be too.
73 duda !
