Loose wire

I have a Kenwood TS520SE that has extremely low audio. I have cleaned the relay already, no change. I found a loose wire just behind the VFO tuner. It is on the upper left corner of the board just to the right of the VFO, second post. The wire is gray and if I read the board correctly the wire is connected to the post that reads ALC. I will try to attach pictures. Where should this wire be attached at the other end? KE6PYZ@arrl.net
