 QRZ Memorial Day QSO Party 2010
I don't want to wait until Thanksgiving for another QRZ qso party.
It was a lot of fun chasing Pat across the country, and we had some really good thing going, both on the air and QRZ.
So let us shoot for Memorial Day?
And dedicate the day to military radio operators that gave their lives?
Being a front line radio operator was an extremely dangerous position, as you was considered a "high value" target.

I am an amateur radio operator, in what still is, at least somewhat, a quasi-technical hobby.
I am NOT a DHS employee, and I don't work for FEMA.
I am a freaking bus driver, yapping on the radio, playing with antennas and having FUN.
However, in a given situation, I will surrender my knowledge, my equipment and experience, that is what real hams do....

Memorial Day is always hit and miss as we are out and about, but one never knows. I may be around in the evening for 40 . . . we'll see.
