Doesn't help me any, it will be closed by the time I get home! I tried 15 last Sunday and just heard one station, who was in Mexico with a really good signal, but he was only working his buddies in the USA. Tried calling CQ and that didn't work out for me.

One of the benefits of retirement is being able to listen when you want to as long as your wife doesn't have some other junk she want's you to do....
i'm sorry you don't have the experience or understanding to realize that others possess a skill set that you seem to dismiss as fantastical.

Yes indeed! Worked Western Samoa on 15 for a 4th band. It was quite a nice surprise to hear them well enough to work them. (With the headphones on and the volume turned all the way up mind you)
15 and 12 have both been very good in the past several days. The SFI has come off its high of about 95 or 96 down to 88 so I think the MUF is probably below 24.9 MHz now. 15 will still be fine, but the openings won't be as pronounced or as lengthy.
Look for a lot of activity on 15 this weekend....Its the ARRL DX CW test.

Yeah, no kidding, I QSO'd with EA8/Canary Islands from my QTH near Denver on 21.072 at 45w power to my 40m dipole on PSK31 an hour or two ago. NOT GOOD for telecommute productivity, had to force myself to stop.

I'm going to have to start checking 15 in the morning before I start breaking rocks with my head. I don't expect to find it open that early, but who knows?
