That is an old Fairchild / Cal-Tex part number (circa 1978).
IF you find old Radio Shack blister pack parts, look for part number: RS1756 -- that was the Cal-Tex clock IC.

Here is an old Datasheet / Application note for this MOS/LSI Clock Calender

Can you use the NTE2060/1 ??
These do not have multiplexed outputs.

I have a Mostek MK50252N Radio Shack 276-1751 with data sheet. Is that close enough?

Not really. The two parts are vastly different and not interchangeable.. The only thing they have in common is that they are both Digital clock chips.

OK, didn't know if you were looking for a replacement for a bad one or just wanted to build a digital clock.

    Default thanks

thank you all for you interest and suggestions. I do need the CT7001 only as it is replacing a blown one in an old clock I made back in the 70's
