    I have just started a new group more local for Bonney Lake hams

    Since you're a spit and a holler from Puyallup, Tacoma, Enumclaw, and the Auburn/Kent valley . . . I'm sure you'll find more hams than you can shake a stick at.

    Also -- get a table at the Mike and Key ARC for some exposure.

    You might find some hams who are local through the Radio Club of Tacoma - http://www.w7dk.org/

    This is a fairly large sized club, and if you did some networking through them you're bound to find hams who are also near Bonny Lake
