Default The real cure to global warming....

"Victoria University professors Brenda and Robert Vale, architects who specialise in sustainable living, say pet owners should swap cats and dogs for creatures they can eat, such as chickens or rabbits, in their provocative new book Time to Eat the Dog: The real guide to sustainable living."

Here's a switch. I have heard about cows and the gas they produce but now they are picking on fluffy. "If you have a German shepherd or similar-sized dog, for example, its impact every year is exactly the same as driving a large car around," Brenda Vale said. The article says one medium dog = a toyota land cruiser and one cat = slightly less that a volks golf.

The American Pet Products Manufacturers Association (APPMA) 2007-2008 National Pet Owners Survey. says there are 75 million owned dogs and 88 million owned cats.

I looked on WIKI and it listed in 2007 , 136 million cars, 110 million trucks, about 1 million buses for a total of 247 million registered vehicles. I"m not even going to try to do the comparison math here. I just know that the "crazy cat lady" down the street, as Desi would say, has got a lot of 'splaning' to do.

I guess my KITTEN, which is about the size of a small RAT, has the impact of one of those RC controlled model airplanes.

I thought I had a cure to global warming. I cranked up the AC and set it to 70* on the global settings but someone said that made it worse. I swear sometimes you just can't win.

    Bio-emissions have been ith us
for millions of years. We evolved
and adapted to earth with 350ppm of CO2
in the atmosphere. It's now 385 ppm.

    Until someone designs bionic pets,
we just have to put up with their farts.

Anything wrong with trying to reduce
    vehicle and power plant emissions?

    Great minds discuss ideas

Global warming cannot be cured, only prevented. And the best way to accomplish that is to NOT sit on the barbecue grill.

Was that a misprint for a historic value of 250 ppm?

Or, all the half wits filled with guilt that buy into the junk science of global warming could jump off the nearest bridge to save the world.
