I start in the middle and read outwards both ways at the same time, like they dig tunnels. Than way I don't have to remember things so long..

So you have MONTHS of time to waste????

Try toi read the thread "ARRL OFFICIAL SAYS MEMORIZE THE ANSWERS" in the Amateur Radio forum. With over 2000 posts on it (Mostly cranky old guys sniveling and no constructive commentary) your mind will be destroyed before you get half way through it. You will rush out to the garage, grab the biggest SLEDGEHAMMER you can find, and pummel your COMPUTER and MONITOR into OBLIVION!!!!!

About as much as I have reading this one so far, or am likely to learn reading this one if it goes on much longer - not a lot.

But as he says in Lonnie Donegan's "My Old Man's a Dustman" about the old chap getting married - "it helps to pass the time"
Though my old mans a dustman
He's got an 'art of gold
    He got married recently
    Though he's 86 years old
We said 'ere hang on dad
    You're getting past your prime
He said well when you get my age
It 'elps to pass the time

Did you mean a good long thread?
Maybe you should try a book if you are seeking knowledge? However, if you are looking for entertainment you're at the right place.

    Tom:

Hate to "burst your bubble", but, they start digging tunnels on both ends, not in the middle. Besides, how would you get to the middle without digging from the outside?

Aw, you spotted his deliberate mistake.

Knowing Tom, I don't know if the "mistake" was deliberate or not!

I used to read the threads just for the entertainment value. I thought it was great fun to watch grown ups act like 5 year olds. But then they upset the adults and got kicked out of the playground.

When I actually want to learn somethin' I go hang around Q and A.
