Default Sheila Jackson Lee came out to our field day

Member U.S. House of Representatives 18th District Texas and supporter of House Resolution 2160 Sheila Jackson Lee came out to the Southeast Texas Amateur Club field day. We finally got the pictures up on our site if anyone is interested in seeing a great supporter of amateur radio on the radio check it out.

Easy now she is fighting for ham operators to be able to put up antennas regardless of homeowners or neighborhood restrictions

A little resonance can be good for the gray matter.

Must be an inside joke. If any elected official is trying to help Amateur Radio, they deserve our support.

I agree and after meeting with her she has got all my respect. Very nice lady that feels very strong for the cause. She was very impressed with the hams and our preformace after hurricane ike and katrina. I am just glad she took noticed and wants to help.

There must be a story behind the "metal plates," and it must be a local story. Care to clue the rest of us in? (Pardon mon grammar.)

She is a fine gal. I met her twice. Once at the Astro Dome after Katirna when I was working with FEMA, and again at Tex Star during Rita. Lady ain't afraid of getting her finger nails dirty.
