This has it all the code, the answer to the code, and some serious solar activity!

We saw the movie last night it wasn't totally horrid!

Just partially horrid? I like Nicholas Cage and although the film didn't win critical acclaim, it was a decent watch; I bought a copy to keep my other Nick Cage films company.

Aside from the plot itself there were a few gaffs that got my attention, both of which involve the plane crash:

The registration (tail) number didn't belong to a U.S. plane even though it was operated by Plymouth Airways/Airlines, an assumed regional airline. (Only we pilots would catch that one!) The other was just before the crash, the alarmed characters were staring forward, down the highway, yet the plane came in from the side so they were looking in the wrong direction and wouldn't have seen it coming. Oops!

Watching Nicolas Cage pull a gun on an angel was interesting.

Nicolas Cage. . . . . let me see, it sure seems like he LOVES to solve those mysteries, doesn't he? "National Treasure" and the like. He is always solving mysteries. Seems to have a one track mind !
Ham Radio, Amateur Astronomy, and Model Airplanes - what better way to spend some time!

No time is ever wasted that is spent LEARNING something !

You think that thing was an angel?

That movie screamed Scientology from the beginning to the end.

Cage commands about 20 million a flick now. His real name is Nicholas Coppola. You might have heard of his dad.

I just love Nicholas Cage films. Most are excellent, like the Natl Treasure series, and his best, CON-AIR, which was just OUTSTANDING. Bangkok Dangerous was just OK. Ghost Rider I didn't care for, NEXT was great! So I am most anxious to see KNOWING and will have the good wife rent it as soon as it comes to the Redbox. Previews look very interesting. I am easily entertained. I STILL say Armagedon is the best movie of all time!
