2012 Doomsday? and other stuff

First off i do apologize if this has been discussed.If this isnt the right place please move it. Also please no flaming i would just like to know.

Ok my first question is do some or all of you believe in the silliness that in 2012 the world is going to end? I kinda dont because all i have heard and read is that its the end of the Mayan calender,so why do people automaticly think its the end of the world? Like i said i dont believe that its the end of the world but i still have dreams of the end of the world and
does scare me a little.

All of this 2012 stuff does make you think.

Now my other question is will you accept the chip when its mandatory? i wont. I heard at first it was suppose to happen in 2010 now i hear its 2017.So what is the over all opinion here about the chip?

I heard on the news from a russian offical that by 2010 the United States will be no more,was this guy just blowing smoke or did he mean somthing about it? i couldnt really find much about it on the net or im just wording it wrong.

This thing about the New World Order and Obama,do you guys really think its going to happen? i mean i know there are alot of country's that really like there independence,so how does Obama think its going to work?

Those seem a little overboard for my taste.

All i really wanted to know is that if there really "IS" any reason to worry or not. Plus some real proof about those subjects in my first post,Non-paranoid kind i mean.

I don't go to those conspiracy sites,i watch Documentaries and the News mainly on TV. Plus some educational shows about Astronomy,S.E.T.I.,etc.
