Those who claim Christians killed as many forget that Christianity had its reformation and evolved.

Islam has yet to have theirs, but their time is coming.

I wish someone would explain the bottom-line difference between a Sharia loan (say on a house) and a conventional fixed rate mortgage. Sharia prohibits interest, but does not the borrower wind up having paid de facto interest when the debt is settled? It seems like, other than no provision for late payments, a matter of semantics to get around the interest prohibition.

I wish someone would explain to me the prime directive of Islam and the Quran.
If the Islamic believer's actually Believe in every line of the Quran that calls for the killing of All Non-Believer's Christians, Jews apparently first then everyone else. Then to that end to make the entire planet of Islamic belief, and yes, I know,l converting the world to Christianity is a their goal also. However, Christians do not call for the killing of ALL non-Christians either, not today, maybe in the past.
Am I wrong? Are the Radical Islamics the only ones that totally believe in those verses in the Quran calling for the death of all who do not believe?
I do have most or all of the references line and verse in the Quran outlining their means of 'converting' ie: convert or die, as seen lately with the killing of that kid by Muslims for NOT converting.
I would love to welcome all belief's, but only those who believe in the Quran have my "Welcome Mat" being very selective, as with Christianity their knowledge of their books line and verse may not be complete just as I don't know every line and verse of the Bible.
How I wish those verses were NOT in their Holy Quran, it would be easier for me to accept.
    In so many words:
If the Quran as a whole calls for the death of every "infidel", then where is the deliniation between "Radical" and casual Quran believer? Our own leaders command us to welcome Islam, have they NOT read the Quran, all three interpretaions.
Someone enlighten me please....... Is Islam a religion of LOVE or HATE?
I am not making a judgement here I am here to learn.
    .......Waiting for enlightenment............

Christianity is not a religion its a reality. It doesn't matter if you belive the Bible or not, you will still be judged by it in the end. It's up to you.

Maybe they're like the Marines, Gary: "Kill them all and let God sort them out." :S

From what I understand, the buyer does pay interest but to someone who isn't a devout Muslim...who in turns hands the money over to the lender; that's how it's done to get around Sharia law. It's kind of like observant Jews who hire a gentile to do work, turn equipment on and off, etc., on Saturdays because they (the Jews) aren't allowed to work or change the state of matter on the Sabbath.

Religion is the oldest tool to maintain power, and keep poor people happy that they are poor.
And to make darned sure they stay poor. Give "the Lord" your money. But the Lord doesn't get a dime of it. Earth bound organizations do, and those high in the organization get quite wealthy.

The entire parable of the Tree of Knowledge says it all. Do not allow the servants to have any knowledge. That is what the story is about, forbidding knowledge. That is why in the days of old books were destroyed, and the citizen was forbidden to know how to read. If he could read, he would learn he was a stupid slave. At one point in history a person could be beheaded for owning books.

Religion is about making sheep of what would otherwise be thinking people.
