Yaesu FT-8900 and RT Systems Software

Has anyone ever used the RT-Systems V3.7 software to program the radio? Did you have an issue writing the programming to the radio?

If so you might not be the only one. I sent my radio back to Yaesu/Vertex and all worked well and they found no issue with the radio or the software.

So I tried and older version of the RT System software. Well guess what IT WORKED FINE.

So if you have this issue contact RT systems as they may want to get your radio to try to fix the issue. They were willing to pay for the shipping but I could not be without my radio for another 2 weeks.

They did say they know about the issue but can not reproduce the same problems.

This is great software. I use it for my rig. Only problem I found was that the adapter cable I bought (usb to serial) would only work in Windows XP.
