    Hi All,

Thats pretty nice, a useful piece of ham software that doesn't require winders, squeal server, stored procs, registry entries, .NET assemblies or other such detritus.

Kudos to the author, it's been bookmarked in there with all of the really useful online stuff like filter calculators.

Good show, but I don't need many cards for 2-meters

Then the program is made just for you.

I send out cards for 2 meter simplex contacts and also to new hams I hear on the repeaters. I just indicate the use of the repeater on the card. I have found that to be a nice way to welcome people into the ham world.

My very first QSL card was from a 2 meter simplex contact.

When I was a widdle boy, my parents were into the CB thing, which in the 60s was much different than it is now. Ma and Pa collected QSL cards from everyone they talked to on the air. I would love to have them, but they got discarded over the years.

I would love to see card exchange become the norm for contacts with our friends, regardless how they are done so long as the card indicates the means.

My first HF card and contact was done using CW on 10 meters at the incredible distance of 9 miles. It was to a friend of mine and we used 2 meter simplex as a back up as neither one of us were code pros and I, for one, was a bit nervous.

Two meters is radio too, you know...

I bet your XYL would be elated to know that she's "Not worth a QSL card". You ol' romantic devil, you!

I want Vanna's pix on mine. Whoops, that might not be such a good idea.
