    Default North East Scotland:- Amateur Radio sale

    I thought I might pass on the following information!
    The Moray Firth Amateur Radio Society are holding a Spring radio equipment sale at the Scout Hall, Christie place, Fochabers at 12 noon on Saturday the 11th of April.
    Entry is £1.00. All tables are free for sellers who can enter the hall at 10 am to set up stalls. Tea and coffees will be available.

    all are welcome!

    Thanks for the info, I was wondering if MFARS was still active, especially as the calendar on the website still shows the 2008 events.

    I may well go along and have a look.

    If I ONLY had a private Lear Jet, I could fly over and see what there is.
    But, alas, it would take Thousands of dollars to attend from the USA. Hope the
    participants have a great time. Bet there will be some wonderful deals!

    Nah, why dont you have a word with Mr Obama and see if he will let you borrow one of his nice blue/white 747s for the weekend? Bring a few friends with you and you can share the cost of the fuel.
    If you can land at Lossiemouth, (if the RAF are not too busy that Saturday), I am sure someone can call past and give you a lift to Fochabers, buy them a cup of tea and a bun and you may even get a lift back!
