I thought I could get rich in the stock market by investing in
Viagra, Geritol, And Ginseng but my stocks didn't rise to the occasion.
Hell, I figured that there was always somebody somewhere either trying to
Get it up
Get it going
or
Trying to remember what to do with it.

Download the YagiMax suite from the downloads section of this site. Then enter the data and you will get information on gain, pattern (both E and H), what dimensions for gamma matching, etc.

I got the same thing.
After much fiddling with it, I was able to extract all the files (one at a time!) from the ZIP, but I cant be sure they are all truely intact.
Something is definitely screwy with that file.

I was able to successfully extract YagiMax files, and YagiMax ran ok - BUT it's a DOS program. The gentleman asked about a windows based Yagi program.
There is one out there I've used, but darn if I can remembe what it is just now. Seems like there is another DOS based program that was a bit better than YagiMax also - the one I used most. Gotta go back and do some digging when I get a chance.

Yagi For Windows is the name of the program that comes with the
ARRL antenna book CD Rom. It has a few "Quirks". for instance,
I inputted the info on the Cushcraft 10 element yagi in the PDF and the thing crashed with an overflow error.

Go look at the Cushcraft A148-10S, which is a 10 element yagi -- as a 2-meter Yagi reference baseline design.
Cushcraft web site has recently changed (Laird Communications acquisition)
http://www.lairdtech.com/WorkArea/li...id&ItemID=3598
Element length and spacing between elements are your 2 large variables in the design!
