Default QST QST QST QST QST QST QST QST QST !!!!!

Announcing the grand debut of AJ's Eternally Open Shack! Are you a newly licensed ham? Or do you KNOW a newly licensed ham? You have NO excuse not to get on the air!
Every Saturday (unless otherwise noted), from 10 AM to 6 PM, (and even later if you just CAN'T break away from thst contest or rare DX!) the shack of KL7AJ in North Pole is open to any and all guests. We have Vintage and Newfangled operating positions, all H.F. bands, nearly all modes.
A valuable (sort of) physical PRIZE will be given to anyone who brings along a guest ham UNDER THE AGE OF 21!
For the geeks amongst you, we have a good variety of test equipment and a homebrewing area.

    So, what's the catch?

    Just a small one.

I might have a job for you. Or two. Sorting parts, helping fill out my shamefully backlogged QSL cards, winding coils, washing antique telegraph insulators. I might also have a tower-raising party in the spring...if i can find a tower.

Give me a call at 488-0483 to be sure i'm around (highly recommended if you're booking a flight), or just take your chances and show up at 3763 Lyle Avenue, in North Pole.

    73 es God bless!

    Eric, KL7AJ/NNN0AKA

This is a test, right? If we can make it to the North Pole we passed?

I will not ask you for the area code, that would be too easy.

    Default Are Hints Allowed?

    Pssst...Eric,

Are you going to tell folks that North Pole, AK is south of Fairbanks,
or are you going to be tough and make 'em figure it out on their own?

(Your secret's safe with me if you're going to play hard-ball.)

    Regards,
    -Bruce

Wrong. Fairbanks is NORTH of north pole. Let's get it right!

Sorta like Denver claiming to be Mile High (which it is), but it is actually one of the lowest places in Colorado.

    OMG OMG!

I have a 17 year old son who just got his license---I'll send him immediately, but you gotta feed him! And put up with his smart teenage mouth and make sure he goes to school and takes a shower and brushes his teeth and washes his clothes. He'd have to just stay there, cuz we're in TX...will accept large sums of money for accepting him back....

If you are going, so am I. It's been a while since I have really learned something.

Ok, maybe I will just join (again) my local ARC. Got to keep costs down.
