Since losing his job in the Casino, he has been lazy, shiftless, sleeps til afternoon, plays video games till 5 in the morning and services floozies day and night. NO TIME for a job! OH, he has a menial part time job washing dogs, but that won't make his $400 a month car payments and $300 insurance payments. SOMEONE has to pay those, and I suspect it is his saintly, suffering little Mother who already took a big PAY cut!!!

He says there are no jobs out there. Maybe NO jobs he wants to do. I had seen a great improvement in his attitude and work habits after High School, and thought he was on the road to a great career. Then things turned to S%#@#. He totalled several cars (several NEW cars!!), but so far has stayed out of Jail. Now that he is legal age, I worry day and night I will get a call from the Police to come and get him for a DUI. And the worry never ends. If ONLY he hadn't blown his big chance at the Casino. But, rather than being somber, appologetic, humble and beg for another chance, he copped an ATTITUDE and told them to F##& OFF!!!!! PHEW!!!!!! Thats no way to win a dispute!

So its been all downhill since. No progress on a job, his new car is all smashed up with no insurance to fix it. The DMV will issue a Registration cancellation notice anyday now for no insurance leaving him high and dry on the hill. ( no bus service up here!)

Of course, nothing I have to say is taken seriously. What do I know? I am just DAD! His poor mother would work 3 jobs just to keep him happy. So I don't know what I can do to "encourage" him. Others say THROW HIM OUT!
That isn't possible with his mother overriding every thing I have to say. My opinion is automatically vetoed, even though I am the one who has to come up with the money!

It just gets worse every day. More Video games, more girls, no jobs!
    Whats a DAD to do?

That's one reason I had hoped I would pass away in my last Heart ailment. This is one problem I want OUT of!

    Solution.

Ultimatum, he goes or you go.

    Either way you win.

After all, since he is her Baby Boy, he isn't capable of doing ANYTHING WRONG!!!

Wow, it sound like you are very unhappy. No way to live your life.

If you need to talk about it and get it off your chest, I'm here.

Should probably do it in PM though.

I would like to encourage all hams to get along on the zed and on the air.

I would like to encourage my clients to be more active.

Just remember you only have control over one person. Try to take things with a lighter heart and you will find this will happen more and more. Not everybody is out to get you.

As for your clients, I don't think even L-dopa will do that job.
