Costco has excellent free samples too, and I get my moneysworth out of my Costco membership by cashing in on these Freebies. Being very impoverished, Costco is fine dining! And then, I get one of those Strawberry ice cream sundaes for dessert. So, Dinner costs about $1.50. I rarely buy anything in Costco, just go in for the Freebies.

Could this be being done due to loss of profits(yea right) or due to greed by the upper management who want their bonus bucks???

Could these people have found church and are giving up their evil ways??

    1. Sneek in? No. The hospitality Center was part of the brewery, not the theme park. Direct entry from Rt. 60. They promoted it as an area luncheon spot. The brewery did have a monorail to shuttle theme park guests between the adjacent Busch Gardens to the hospitlaity Center. Even so, it seemed a rather loose affiliation.

    2. Un-noticed? Not at all. We had generous lunch breaks and, being salaried, I didn't clock in or out. Everyone had to check through the guard gate, though. A couple of guys on the management team were part of our lunch group, so we were golden.

    3. Free beer while on the clock? That's the best kind!

    4. Shame on me? Not at all -- no shame in it. Many of the hourly and salaried workers went to Olde Town Deli, Pizza Hut, or Steve's Steak House and enjoyed brews with their lunch. They just had to pay for theirs.

    Possibly.

A better bet is that their customers have become somewhat disenchanted with beer that for all intents and purposes possesses the same characteristics as the fluid which emanates from the company's namesake Clydesdales...

I am suddenly reminded of the old saw about why drinking Budweiser was akin to making love in a canoe. However, the punchline uses a certain coarse word of anglo-saxon origin, and use of it would no doubt get me a time-out for a length of time... so alas, I must refrain.

Bud, the greenest beer on the market. Aged in the can while in transit to the discount store. Some times in the summmer the beer ws loaded ASAP on the traler and upon delivery it was still hot from the brewery.

I worked for a beer distributer and saw first hand how stuff like that was handled, ugh.
Some warehouse distributors I delivered to had a soda machine and there was always 2 or 3 buttons that said out of order and if you it one of those you got a free beer.
I could drink one Bud and get the worlds worst headache.

Give me a Blatz or a PBR even a schlitz.
    Those were the days .

Bud has sold 80 % of their stock to a foreign company and that is probably the reason for the NO FREE BEER. Other changes will be noticed in the near future .
