    Default Hustler BTV trap modifications

For those of you who wish to change trap frequencies to another band, the following may be handy:

    Trap turns count = F(MHz) * 0.66

When you've added or subtracted turns from the trap you must recalibrate it for the new band. This is done by moving the metal sleeve, which is in essence the outer "plate" of the trap capacitor. A 0.25" variance can shift the trap frequency by as much as 1MHz so proceed carefully. A swept signal generator and network analyzer is MOST helpful here, though it can be done with a grid-dip meter.

    Default Trap Parameters?

Has anyone got parameters for the traps or modeled a BTV in EZNEC?
