    Default Backyard Field Day - K7AGE 2008

I started out with some antenna experimenting Saturday morning to use with my camp trailer. I added some more antennas and got on the air. This turned into a backyard field day, operating completely away from my main station, portable antennas, battery and generator power.

Naturally, I got the video camera out Sunday morning and shot me trying for 100 satellite points - failed, I got the ARRL bulletin using PSK31 and made about 90 contacts. Anyway, here is my video -

Randy, I posted on utube, I hope you dont take offense when I said it was a little dry HA HA! A lot of the technical aspects of ham radio... are.... dry.

However, from a technical standpoint, I enjoyed the video. So thanks for posting and keep them coming!

    What I'm talkin' about !!!

Nice mix of stills and video, with SOUND !!!

Amazing sometimes how often we forget this hobby involves listening and that audio from our radios is key to any presentation about it.

Please produce more in the time ahead. Welcome stuff for insiders and those thinking of joining us.

    UPDATE:
For those who may not have noticed, there's a "Watch in high quality" hotlink that is REALLY worth your while if you're on a highspeed hookup. It's right under the views counter.
