An Update on my punishment

How LAME, I was a Marine who did two tours of duty in Viet Nam, and there are a LOT of Hams that served this Nation here on the ZED. What about some respect for us???

I was in the Army and only did one tour in 67-68.. There has never been much respect for Viet Nam guys..... Bitter? Maybe, just the way I see it!!

I got over bitter a long time ago it took awhile and I look back with pride at what WE had to do now . That is no excuse through for defending FREE BANDING JERRY.

I respect Jerry's service as a soldier, but as a ham, his attitude sucks.

Furthermore, he's personally attacked me and others many times, ultimately leading to his banishment from QRZ. So honestly I don't think much of him as a person.

But whatever. You guys can have your little treehouse. I'm just LOLing that you guys consider me enough of a threat to your manhood that you decided to keep me out of it.

He is a soldier that has been to Iraq, and deserves some respect.

Those who truly deserve respect earn it daily in the way they treat people and carry themselves through life. They do not have to drag up the past in an effort to gain that respect.

Maybe bitter was a bit strong, but the Viet Nam guys did what they had to do just like everyone else in the military, was it the soldiers fault it was as political as Iraq is now?
