Default Patting myself on the back - slingshot skills

After around a year since I last used my slingshot and fishing reel (and model rockets!) to hang antenna wires, I had to pull out the arsenal again due to some high wind last week.

1st try over the 45' cedar: must have had too much slack out, causing a snapback.
2nd try over the cedar: success!
1st try over the whatever tree it is that doesn't sway much at the 55' level: success! (it must have taken me 15 times the first time a few years ago over this particular tree).

Now I'll probably go over one more tree today or later this week so that I can hang two doublets (one anchor point from one of the above trees). It'll probably take me 15 shots since I bragged about it here...

I hadn't used one for several years, and a few weeks ago it took me about a dozen tries to hit the branch I wanted. I need to practice if I'm going on Field Day!

Better work on those skills, squirrel season is just around the corner..
i'm sorry you don't have the experience or understanding to realize that others possess a skill set that you seem to dismiss as fantastical.
