Ah yes.Radio station contests! I was the KING of them around here when I was a kid. I am the reason they went to anything other than the first caller. I had it down, found the secret about rotary dial phones. Kept one around for many years just for that. I was banned from contests on local station KOL. I bet Danny Holiday still remembers me!! He knew my voice so well he would just hang up on me. I won a lot of stuff!!
Now I am reduced to a lowly 9-ball player.

I have most of the weekend free to do some serious S&P. I hope to have DXCC completed after this. Actually, I have 104 countries worked, but only 65 confirmed. Just hoping I see a lot of LoTW QSLs from this and the upcoming CQ WPX. Contesters seem to be real good about uploading their logs. The majority of my 41 LoTW DX QSLs are from contests.

Can't wait!
