Well, yeah, you're in TX... which apparently was the only place 10 meters worked last night... today, not even hearing that.
Aye caramba! Guess I have to get on the air! We just got back from Mass and lunch...
Many of my dupes last night were from the midwest, as is usual in my personal experience recently, on 10m as well as 20m.
Good luck to all!
I'm going to get on 28.43 +/- if anyone cares to listen. 2:38pm Central time...

I am very much surprized here with all of my friends on qrz.com, talking about opening within the state side stations, one county to another, there are many state stations doing great contacts with DX stations all over the world, the bands are all oopen for them, today , state side stations did many contacts on 17,28,14,15 and 40 meters, then why my friends here are not present there and all the time talking about state to state contacts ((((((((((
I see my name on the clouster and I look for most of your call signs here, hopping to meet one of you, each time a state station come on my pile up, I check twice fr the call, some times I delay my answer, hopping that one of you is doing the contact with me.
Am I wrong, or do I understand other wise.

A lot of propagation on some bands is dictated by latitude, which dictates solar angle. #You're located closer to the equator than most of us, I think. #I'm located near 40N 83W, in the middle of the state of Ohio. #I'm pretty far from saltwater, and I'm using a vertical antenna. #
So propagation is not kind, though I did work one Texas station--roughly 1000 miles (1600km) away. #And I worked a station in Indiana, roughly 100 Miles away. #And all the rest have been within 50 miles. #Very bad CDX.

Our complaints this weekend are focused on 10 meters, because the ARRL 10 meter contest is going on this weekend.
We are all trying for any contacts we can get, but only on 10 meters. All contest contacts must be on the 10 meter band.
10 meters is not working well this weekend. Yes, other bands are open, but those of us who are trying to compete in the contest have to stay on 10 meters.
Sure, we can make contacts on other bands, but they don't count in the contest!
That's why you are seeing so many of us talk about bad conditions on 10 meters.

Some of my friends work on contest here 2 weeks back, A71EM, A71BX and with one of our American friends here, I still did not work on contest, once tried to contact a station and he sked me for a number, I was then lost and did not know what to tell him but tnx and 73.
I will try to hear you on 10 meter and If I did, I will call.
please add your frequeny on the clouster. I always have this soft ware on and so many do so in the world, this make other ham pay attention to who is present on the band.
Thank you my friend and 73

Use of a spotting cluster during some contests changes the category the station is competing in.
I make it a practice not to even look at a cluster during a contest period if I'm working the contest, to avoid changing my category from Single Operator, Low Power.
I didn't look really closely at the rules on this one to see if the cluster's allowed.

I always stick the rules, I understand, some times due to the luck of good signals, some stations they add their call sign, telling the DX tnx for fb qso, this mean if the call sign been picked incorrctly, the DX has to correct it, like cheating in an exam.
I do not work that way, if I did not pick the call and my report and the other station did not receive his report, for me there was qso been made.
Thank my friend and 73
