At my emoloyer I previously managed the department which handled e-mail Customer Care. #An otherwise qualified employee from another department applied for a transfer and kept sending me e-mails following up on his application. #All of these e-mails were sent in all caps. #I turned him down based on that alone.

These days I see no less than a dozen resumes a week from applicants. #So far, not one has been in all caps.

I'm copying at 10 WPM now but I'll tell you a secret. I actually write the copy down in all caps. I find it easier and faster that way. Oh god!!! Please don't bash me now................good grief............

It's not a matter of picking on anyone or arguing.

It's pointing out that all caps is for many, if not most, difficult to read.

If you want your posts read, then conform to what is easiest for most to read.

This isn't arguing or picking on anyone, but just stating a fact.

    Bingo, you hit it.
I believe every problem has a solution.
Hence, if there's no solution, there's no problem.

Nah, I tend to believe that people are just itching to find something to complain about. It's in a lot of people's nature anyway. Why candy coat it?

I would rather read a well-written and well-composed message with good spelling than some unpunstuated, lower-case mess with one out of three words misspelled.

spelling aint THAT important in an area like this site, or on the internet or even a newspaper article.

    example ---

    simple and to the point
    God loves you .

Be as nice as you can to others.

I type real slow for those of you who can not read fast.

This thread is a trainwreck about to happen. It's outlived any possible usefulness, so here's to pulling the emergency brake.
