I have a Rigblaster Plus and set it up for CW keying with my 746 Pro. When I use AClog and the keyboard for keying, the Rigblaster and the 746 act like they are in full break in. Also there is no side tone keyed this way. If I go back to keying from the keyboard without the Rigblaster connected, it is all just fine with normal VOX and sidetone.
I was wondering if that is the way the Rigblaster usually works for CW keying (I doubt it) or if I missed something somewhere.

    You have missed something.
I use the same setup for CW contesting with an Elecraft K2/100, works great. The key out jack on the rigblaster+ goes to the key jack on the radio. You do have to disable the keyer in the rig as the software is now the keyer.
CW is a manually controlled, message asynchronous, simplex chat mode used without FEC.

I had a similar thing happen with the FT-890, CW type and the Rigblaster Plus when I first hooked everything up. When set in full-break in mode, the rig would act like I had a digital mode (full on) going. When I set the rig to semi- break in, everything worked normally.
