    Use it or lose it

    Hi lads:
    I'm sure you're all having fun with echolink, but since you've earned your Tech privileges, at least, might I suggest you USE some of them. PLEEEEEASE, look over the allocation chart I've attached. YOu have radio frequencies clear up to daylight (almost) that are almost totally UNUSED. YOu need to start experimenting with some of these frequencies...it's priceless real estate, and if YOU youngn's don't use them, they could be lost. You have about nine bands where you can do ANYTHING YOU WANT....almost.

    I couldn't agree more. I am now Extra, the way I got there was using my privileges on 10, 15, and 40 meters (I was a Technician with code so I was allocated 10 phone and CW, 15, 40, and 80 CW)
    When I would make a contact on CW or a phone contact on 10, I would get really excited and get me studying on General, then Extra.
    Remember, 15 is a great band, all it needs is a CQ
