The E is spreading from the south and heading west it appears. Heard them on parts of 10 during FD. Getting 5x7 - 5x9 (max) as the signal fades in strong and then goes.

Hope this is a slow process upward in the return of 10m for this upcoming solar cycle. Maybe it's just the summer heat having an effect too as it's 90 degrees here at the QTH. Dewpoint is 69... Yee haw...

Don't worry, Sunspots will come back eventually! # Look! #there is one coming around the side of the sun, right now! Then you won't have to be worrying about Es to get your "openings"!

My friend from England told me he was hearing NYC on 11m.

But where are all the North Americans on 10?

Depends on the situation. However, he was talking with a 2 call and so one would think he probably would hear me too. For all we know, that 2 call might have also been over in his vicinity though.

I heard 4's, 5's, 6's, and some 7's, on Sunday afternoon till about 0530 UTC. A lot of Wyoming!

Good question... we only managed 4 contacts on 10m during FD. The band was quiet as a church mouse.
