Ever notice individuals that list each and every item in individual for sale posts? Often wonder why they don't just list multiple items in one for sale posting and then update as items are sold.

Just seems a bit off to list stuff that way, unless you decide to list something a week later, etc.

I think that the thinking behind that is that they figure that if anyone is looking for something specific they may not look into each post those looking for specifics may just skim the topic titles.

Yip. W8EK's multiple listings have been most useful for me. I found just what I wanted. (Thanks for the good deal, OM&#33

I would think individual posts for individual items would be a logical choice, and make things easier for buyer and seller alike. A buyer could search for a specific item, rather than having to go through a whole list, and the buyer can describe the item more completely without an ungodly long ad.
About the only time I would think listing items en masse would be items that are normally used together; such as a transmitter and matching VFO that a person wants to sell together, rather than seperately.

I see no reason to be suspicious onless there's some other reason to believe there's something else amiss.

Wasn't meaning to sound suspicous, just curious. Sure takes up lots of posting page space.

There are differing thoughts on this; I'm still getting used to the idea of multiple posts for multiple items on QRZ. #Other buy/sell/trade forums I frequent (computer related, not ham specific) encourage (& on the one I'm most familiar with, require) a single thread per member. #Since most casual browsers rarely read past page one of the classifieds, a seller with multiple posts bumps other sellers to page 2, thereby decreasing their chances of a sale. #Of course not everyone sees it this way

Sometimes hte Individual posts per item are nice. They beat the smeg out of a page like this:

Heath transceiver Delco generator plant argyle sox antenna rotor control baseball diamond 2m HT computer screen baseball cap that says Yaesu tooth picks e string from Bruce Springsteens guitar box of random tubes for black and white TV sets dead cell phones Skil saw new in box diathermy machine random wave noise machine AM/FM thing for boat large box of nothing Tandon raid controller box UHF connector 2 to 20 feet of unknown coax large box of toenails and bellybutton lint HTX 202 several burned up computer power supplies nose hair

The toothpicks aren't ham related and don't belong on ZED classifieds... thought you'd get away with it, huh?

I can see both points, but I'd rather see a few seperate postsa than one, great big mess that's hard to read. I'd think that would discourage potential buyers. Maybe the trick is not to sell everything at once? Maybe space ads a few days apart.

BTW, how much for the argyle sox and are they really for plants?
