    Hi all,

Just picked up a MFJ 949C tuner without its manual. Does anyone have one they could copy and send me (scan, email or hard copy)? I will pay expenses for hard copy.
I already checked MFJ site and contacted them, a free one is not available. There are other sites that charge as well. I just did not want to pay $7 or $10 unless I have to....just a cheapskate I guess.
    Thanks in advance.

if the manual for your model is nit there, just download any of them that looks close to yours.

without looking up your model, all tuners are basically the same generic device in that they all have a coil that is tapped and switched or a roller type, and have two condensers that you adjust for the best reading on the meter, if you know how to use one, then you have a good idea on how to use them all ( the basic ones, not the automatic ones).
so any manual should be of great help for you, just down load one a see.

The manual for the E model is here: MFJ-949E
I wouldn't think there would be much difference.
