I turned the station on at 22:30 UTC and will operate for a few hours.
The signal is in PSK63 mode, on 14.072 USB at 20 watts from the southern tip of Texas.
I am sending a couple of short messages about the AltCast test transmissions, one in text and one in html, and an ARRL propagation bulletin.
Any program that can operate in PSK63 mode should be able to copy the data stream. DigiPan and MixW will do it.
Here is some information, including how and where to get the free AltCast software that captures the multicast data to your hard drive.
Signal reports are greatly appreciated. Report here or use my email button below. #Best of all, report as requested in the information bulletins being transmitted.
Anybody with AltCast capture a file, or have the HTML pop up in the mini-browser?
Thank you!

I'm downloading the software now. I'll try it until just before 6PM local and then I'm going to break for the NA Sprint.

OK< up and listening. I copied a 6 land signal to the low end on _SK31, but nothing else so far other than some odd digital signal that I don't recognize.

I never could get Digipan to see any PSK63 signal... lots of PSK31, though.
-
Same here. No PSK63 seen at that frequency or anywhere in the vicinity. Listened between 23:40 and 24:00 UTC.
-
Thanks guys, all reports are useful because I'm trying to figure out where the signal does and does not go.
It looks like KC9ECI copied a part of the ARRL Propagation bulletin, but the signal never made it to 4-land.
Thanks again, I'm shutting down for the evening at 00:36 UTC.

Ya gonna try again in the future, Charles? "Inquiring minds want to know! ! ! "
Ham Radio, Amateur Astronomy, and Model Airplanes - what better way to spend some time!
No time is ever wasted that is spent LEARNING something !

Do let us know, and I'll listen again.

I got the station up again at 22:30 UTC on 14.071.5 USB ( according to my rig, you know how that goes ) in PSK63 mode.
I kind of sandwiched myself in - between the PSK31 and MFSK signals.
I'll notify here before I shut down, probably in a an hour or so. - I have to shut down around 6:45pm CST for sure, as I will need the computer then to transmit NewsLine on the local repeater, something I do every Sunday evening.
