I have recently acquired another Yaesu FT-980. The VFO on the one that I have had for some time is tight, accurate and does a great job. The VFO on the one I just acquired, is loose and seems to be a little sloppy. It is sometimes hard to get the radio dead on frequency. Is this just a matter of tightening up something, or replacing the VFO? I understand that VFOs DO wear out. If it is replacing the VFO, can anyone tell me approximately how much it would cost for a new or rebuilt VFO or give me a website/phone number of someone I can call? The keypad entry system is working flawlessly, and I can use it until? ? ? ? ? ?. Thanks for any inputs. I have searched the WEB for a place that sells replacement VFOs and kinda gave up. #
