    I am sad to announce the tragic death of Garth ZS6GW on the 4th of August 2015, he was 55 years old. He obtained his Class A license a few years ago, with my assistance got Garth up and running on HF. I remember the day of his first DX QSO to New Zealand using a OCF Dipole and Heathkit HW101, and then the QSO to Hawaii a few days later.
