Youth needs some help!

    I am able to pass the practice tests consistently, but I cant find a testing location. Can anyone help me out?

    if you would happen to be close to Dayton, they run tests during Hamvention, and you can pick up all kinds of goodies for your new hobby!




    edit--cause i cant even spell WITH spell check :(

    I have found a testing location, but how do i know when i am in the FCC database?

    Oh, and my dad is takin' my cash and getting me a radio while he's at dayton.

    Go to http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/searchAmateur.jsp and search for your name. Or just look up your name on QRZ, though that'll take an extra day or two.

    Why is he going to Dayton? Is your dad a ham? Does he know what to buy???
