    This weekend is the SSB portion of the YL-OM contest.  This contest has been around for a long time.  The OMs call for YLs and the YLs call for OMs.  This is a great way to work on your YLWAS and YLDXCC.  For full details on the contest go to www.qls.net/ylrl.

    This weekend is also the Girl Scout/Girl Guides Thinking Day on the Air.  Please listen for the girls this weekend and help show them what ham radio is all about.
