I have a 601B that tracks all frequencies of my 101E exactly except 11M, in the aux position the counter reads 34.xxx - has anyone else experienced this issue and if so how was it resolved. My 601 tracks my 101E exactly on all bands but not the 601B

The YC-601B version did not have provision for CB Citizen's Band operation. The YC-601 did have CB but not the "B" version. That's why.

    Interesting . . .

    I have a YC601, which indeed DOES read 27.xxx on 11m.

I've never actually seen a YC601B (not sure if they were ever imported into Britain) . . . but I suspect their lack of 27 MHZ readout is all part of the US ban on equipment covering 27 MHz !

However . . . it will obviously still give you a frequency readout on 27 MHz . . . you just have to ignore the first two didgits.
