The Yaesu FT-2900 is my first mobile transceiver that I have purchased. I am using a J-Pole antenna with this unit. I input my local repeater frequency along with the associated ARS, CTCSS, PL and have it set to 5W. While listening to the channel I can hear traffic with no problems, however when I push the PTT to transmit, the repeater queues, but no audio is passed. I have had several people say they hear when I queue the mic, but state there is no audio heard. I am wondering if this might be an equipment problem or operator error (have any of you had or heard of this problem)? I am hoping there might be a setting that I have overlooked and that someone might help point it out.

I have a Wouxon HT that I use at 5W on the same J-Pole antenna and it transmits/receives with no problems, so, it seems the error in transmission lies with the FT-2900. Any suggestions would be helpful.
