FOR SALE: Vintage Yaesu FT-101E transceiver, s/n (6L) 220495, very good condition. Covers 160 — 10 meters (no “WARC” bands), has 300 Hz CW filter, RF-level speech processor, built-in 120 V ac power supply and 12 V dc-to-ac converter (no dc cable), cooling fan, hand mic, original Japan manufacture tubes (green-banded finals). Sorry, no manual, but it’s available online. Unit puts out 100 W or more on 80 — 15 and 70 W on 10. One problem: The output on 160 meters is only about 20 W, and I have not been able to correct this, although I’m still trying.

Asking $300 plus shipping (these things are heavy, and shipping will likely be on the order of $50 or so) within continental US (sorry no overseas buyers considered). I accept PayPal (buyer pays 3.5% premium) or USPS money order. I would prefer to deliver to buyer at Dayton Hamvention 2012!

Contact Rick Lindquist, WW3DE, ww3de (at) arrl (dot) net. Please do not reply to this ad or post any personal messages via Thanks!
