    Nice gentleman - Jim VK9NS SK

    My deepest condolences to Jim VK9NS and his family.

    I met him on Norfolk Island when I operated VK9ANU in March and April 2008.
    Norfolk Is was my first place to operate from external territory of Australia, carrying nearly 75kg of equipment by myself.

    How happy was I to meet Jim and Kirsti several times at their home and talked about their DX journeys. Last year he was very active and told me vividly about his old memories of stay in P29 and his dedicated work before his first operation from A5 and so on.

    He was a really nice gentleman. He kindly welcomed me on the Norfolk Is.
    I can not forget the greatest time I shared with Jim and Kirsti.
