I hope you reported this to Palstar, maybe with some pictures.
If the carton had no visible damage but the amplifier did, the internal packing was insufficient. That should never happen.
I did give them a pic of it. Honestly, I have to wonder if it was damaged before it was put in the box and shipped. The shipping carton was pristine and it was packed well.
Hope they offered a small refund.
